This piece of art was given to me by a group of tennis players that come every year to escape the heat in Tucson and play a little tennis. It is always so nice to see them and catch up with what has been happening with them for the past year. This also falls into the catagory of "when guests become friends". Love my tennis playing friends from Tucson!!

Switchfoot BroAm Event

The lovely family shown above are the Gallagher bunch. They come every year and help out with the Switchfoot BroAm that is in Encinitas at Moonlight Beach. When Guests Become Friends...

Ramona and Barry have been coming to the Pelican Cove to visit their grandson since he was born. In fact, they were staying here the night he made his grand entrance to the world. What fun it has been to watch Aiden grow up. This is such a wonderful extra benefit of having a bed and breakfast. Guests become friends and I look forward to watching many more years of Aiden growing up!! Pelican Cove loves it's guests!!

San Diego County Fair Starts Today!!

The smell of popcorn and everything fried, the sound of the midway offering prizes for playing the games, the lights of the rides blurred in the night as the laughter rises from the joyous riders. Remember the fair from your childhood? The Del Mar (San Diego) Fair is all that and more. The fair opens today (June 11th).
